FAQ

Christmas light questions

Can’t find your answer? Call (919) 274-0673.

When should I book Christmas light installation?

The earlier the better. Booking in the fall gives you the widest choice of install dates and gets your lights up in time to enjoy the whole season. Request your free quote and we’ll find a date that works for you.

Do you take the lights down after the holidays?

Yes. Takedown is part of the service. After the holidays our crew removes everything and stores it until next season, so there’s nothing for you to climb, untangle or pack away.

Do you provide the lights or can I use my own?

We supply commercial-grade lights and decorations for every design, so there’s nothing for you to buy, test or untangle, and we store them for you after the season. We don’t install customer-owned lights.

Do you do commercial properties?

Yes. We design and install holiday lighting for businesses and commercial properties as well as homes, and we plan the install and takedown around your business.

Do you install permanent lighting?

No. We focus on seasonal holiday lighting. Your display goes up for the season and comes down after it, so nothing stays on your roofline all year and you can change your design every season.

Do you fix lights that go out during the season?

Yes. Our service includes maintenance throughout the season. If a strand or bulb stops working, give us a call and we’ll take care of it.

How much does Christmas light installation cost?

Packages start at $695. Every display is custom, so your final price depends on your property and the design you choose. Your quote is free and includes a custom mockup of your design.

Is Merry & Bright part of Brightview?

Yes. Merry & Bright Holiday Lighting is the Christmas lighting service of Brightview Window Cleaning & Pressure Washing, a family-owned Wake Forest company that is bonded and insured and has served the Triangle since 2007.
